OUR STORY
It started with places that were being left behind
EdelNet was established to provide internet access in areas where the large national networks were unavailable, unreliable or unable to offer a practical service. Wireless technology made it possible to reach farms, rural homes and outlying communities without waiting for traditional copper infrastructure.
As the network grew, the same combination of local service, dependable connectivity and straightforward pricing began attracting customers in already-serviced urban areas. What started as an answer for underserved communities became a trusted alternative for homes and businesses across the Midlands.
The name carries the same idea: “Edel” means pure-paired with “Net” for internet. It is a simple name for a straightforward goal: useful connectivity, delivered properly.
A network managed close to home
EdelNet operates a network of wireless high sites positioned to serve communities across its coverage area. Customer installations connect by line of sight to a nearby high site, carrying the connection from the wider network to the property.

Fixed wireless connectivity reaches areas where long cable routes are difficult, vulnerable or simply unavailable.
Battery-backed high sites
High sites use battery backup to help maintain connectivity through ordinary power interruptions.
